I just went to Pastis in Copenhagen. Not our NYC Pastis! It's been a spell since I've been but unforgettable!

Arrived at Pastis for a late lunch. Went inside to register and noticed a completely full dining room. Fortunately, we decided to sit outside since the inside volume would have made conversation extremely difficult. Lucky for us, a booth in the pandemic era shelter had just became available despite us not having a reservation. Score one for the home team. Waiter immediately came over presenting a decanter of tap and asked if we would like anything other than water. My lunch partner ordered a white wine. I stuck with water. Onto the brunch menu. My friend having been to Pastis before suggested I try one of the croissants. Once the waiter arrived to take our order, I had to inquire what a Kouign-Anann was and how to pronounce it. Turns out it is a very buttery croissant enhanced with sugar that's well baked to a hardened crust and a soft chewy inside. Delicious and highly recommended. Next for the mains, I ordered Quiche Florentine and my friend ordered the Salade Niçoise. The quiche was fluffy and well appointed with plenty of spinach. One downside was the crust was not quite crispy. According to my friend the salad was great including having anchovies. Lastly, the service was spot on with just the right amount of care, concern and interruptions. Definitely a recommend and will return again.

One of my all time fav places hosting a pop up ~ Dishoom none the less The line for walk in sneaked around the block ~ thankfully we had made a resy! We were promptly seated & well looked after. Our server was great (as usual) and the food lived up to the hype across the pond! We even got 2 Matka's ~ wish us luck!

Had a reservation for brunch on a Sunday. We were seated immediately in a booth. The ambiance is very lively and fun, and had attentive servers. I got the waiters recommendation for the pancakes and I was not disappointed! Prices are actually reasonable for the west village. I will be back.
